Dream Interpretation in Tibetan Medicine Retake
(4-week online course)
In Tibet, interpretation of dreams are not only strongly mixed with cultural beliefs, but they are also influenced by the environment, planets, spirits, and Buddhist philosophy of the mind and its phenomena. In other words, dreams are the meeting point of the outer and inner worlds and thus are highly respected in astrology, Buddhist spiritual practice, and medicine. The Tibetan dream interpretation culture in fact goes hand in hand with medical knowledge and spiritual practice.
The practice of dream analyzing or dream reading aims at discovering the inner body-mind changes and transformation. Dreams are thus an important tool for the study of signs and omens, and for the diagnosis of diseases, all according to the Gyud-shi; the four medical tantras.
If you are interested in the role of dreams in Tibetan medicine, this course is made for you!
Given by Dr. Pasang Yonten Arya, this online course will take you to the universe of dreams and their intricate meanings in relation to diseases.
